Cathrineholm at last
palebear has added a photo to the pool: We've been looking for Cathrineholm for years at thrifts. This is the first time we've ever been able to come across it. It wasn't without the usual drama. I was about to leave the thrift when I decided to check the pots and pans - I almost never check that section, but for some reason I decided to that day.

I saw the casserole bottom peeking out stuck between two other pots and my heart just about leaped out my mouth. I grabbed it... but there was no lid. I looked around for awhile but couldn't find it.

Then I noticed there were these "grab bags" filled with miscellaneous kitchen lids and utensils. I dug around in the bag and finally spotted what I thought was the lid. I bought the bag and ripped it open, and there was the lid!

Unfortunately, I didn't find the metal handle part that had apparently been taken off of this casserole. So it's incompete, but we're very happy to have it nevertheless.
