Found this beautiful bowl on Saturday!--I brought it home thinking I had a match with a bowl I already had, but they are wonderful variations on a theme.

Gol stavkirke is a stave church from the 13th century. It is originally from the Gol municipality, Hallingdal, Norway. Around 1880 the church was demolished and later built up in the eldest open air museum of the world, the Norsk Folkemuseum on the peninsula Bygdoy near Oslo.

This teacup set is lovely from every angle--esp a bird's eye view.
I love the shape of both of these. The blue one is Grizelle made in Japan and the peanut jar is Porsgrund Norway. I guess you would put shelled peanuts in there. I would be afraid peanuts in the shell would get stuck.
